Back Breaker…

Well guys we are almost there!! Finally everything has been delivered (minus silk gloves and cds) and we are ecstatic.

It’s taken just little under one month for us to setup our place as a CD duplication service and print centre.

As some of you may have seen from the pictures, we totally gutted the office and designed and built new desks and storage. Well that took just little over 1 week, and thankfully there was no toilet for Dave to break.

The last to weeks have been made up of ordering all of the equipment having it delivered and getting it in place. Now I thought this would be a very easy job, and it was up until yesterday when the printer arrived.

The very kind man from Pure Colour Solutions did warn us that it weighed probably the same amount as a washing machine. I really did think he was joking….but he wasn’t! This arctic lorry shows up down this nice quiet residential road with the beast inside it. We got it off the truck, signed and then the delivery man sped off (probably ‘because he knew what was coming)

This printer weighs approximately 90kilos and is mahusive. We just got it up off the floor (myself in absolute agony) and we started plodding along…very slowly towards the shed. Now keep in mind the shed is a little bit of a walk away from the front door. Got it in and then we thought shit! This isn’t going to fit on the desk. Well no it didn’t, however we’re going to make a stand and it will be free standing.

So guys we are all there and will be launching this officially on SATURDAY 20^TH MARCH @ GJ’s in Colliers Wood. There will be discounts on the night, a raffle for a FREE 100 disc (slimline cased) duplication set, classic shots giveaways and the best unsigned live music. One massive party going on to the early hours.

I’m off now I’m afraid as have a couple of shows to get organised.
